Timelines depend on design complexity and site conditions. Most patio projects take a few weeks from final design approval through construction. We outline timing early so expectations are clear.  Typically, our patio builds are a part of a larger backyard makeover that also includes an in-ground pool, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor living room. In those cases, timelines will be longer as the patio is a piece of the larger puzzle. ### Do patios require permits in Minnesota? It depends. For a simple uncovered patio, typically a permit is not required. However, permits may be required for the construction process. We review local requirements and handle the permitting process as part of the project. ### What kind of maintenance should I expect? Maintenance depends on the final design and materials selected.
