A pool house is a larger interior structure, often with multiple rooms such as a full bath, changing room, lounge room, and storage room.

Both poolside structures incorporate outdoor elements such as overhangs to provide covered shade.

No. While all of these structures can be poolside, there are a few core differences. Both cabanas and pool houses are always next to a pool, whereas pavilions, pergolas, and gazebos are outdoor structures that can be placed anywhere in a yard. Additionally, pavilions, pergolas, and gazebos are completely open on all four sides and do not have any interior rooms, including storage areas.

As a part of our backyard makeovers, we often incorporate both poolside structures like a cabana as well as additional shaded areas like pergolas so that the entire backyard space feels luxurious and intentional.
